Cloistered bliss — Suleiman Zailani

Alone and all alone
I sip the raw life
Taste its sweet and bitter tang
Away, indeed away
From deceit of varied simulations
Of misguided souls.

I relish the vibrance of a buoyant heart
Initiated to mounting exuberance —
Part and parcel of the soul
Through my porous and receptive soul
Of a lonely crusader.

This silence is a trigger
Of tempests that beckons
My salient powers
To the words gymnastics
Nay to life itself
Life depicted in majestic garb.

I behold beauty in bits
Of soft and crusty particles
Of destiny, prophesied
By experience —
An amalgam of sweet and sour sensations
Oh indeed
Sequestration sanctified
Forever with calm delight.
