My life is not safe
But for my deserved destiny
I hope to survive
Events roll by thunderous
smiles
Of fortunes or misfortunes
Yawning feverishly for who to
swallow
The disasters of life
Continually waterproof good
events
The traumatic events in the social
circle
alarm me:
Politics overcoming our true sense
of reasoning
Our conscience bribed
Religion full of embittered flocks
Intolerance of one another holding
sway
Our economy quaking
It’s survival unguaranteed…
Yet my hope is unwavering
I am my own man
One being encircled by these
catastrophes
I stoically await two imminent
events:
My survival or death
Obvious is the option
Come survival, I shall explode in
thankfulness
With happiness as may bosom
friend
But should I die
It would be bravery
For certainty is my grave
My natural home
For out of sand I came
And to sand I shall return
