Times have changed and events unfold, but there are some of us who do these events not just because other events exist; we do them to fulfill an inner call… to bless others with our innate talents; mostly poetry, to give unto others from that which we have been blessed, thereby creating chain of blessings.
So on Saturday, 24th October 2015, it will be 4 good years since we have been using the #BB platform to bring poets, musicians, comedians, etc. under one roof to touch lives with dexterous performances.
Join us as we celebrate!
It will also be a celebration of all poets (and other talented people) born in the month of October. By now you will agree that Legends are born in October. Lol. There will be cakes and free drinks for those who arrive early.
There will be a lineup of Poets, Musicians, and Comedianswho know their onions… 5 people who are not on performance list will also be given room to shake the Microphone in the open Mic session.
Venue is however changed; it will be KRISTAS Resource Centre, situated on First Street on your left when you enter PDCOS Estate. The Estate is beside Esmak plaza and opposite General Gas, Akobo, Ibadan. (Direction: From Iwo Road or Ojoo alight at Akobo under bridge, go up the bridge as if going to Akobo and locate the estate facing General gas).
