The Hissing of the storm
The Hissing of the storm,wailing…
The clouds fleeing, the chasing
Thoughts of death, draws the gloom itself
Darkness aglow,
Death,
The thought, bringing the chill of snow
The deadly tiger, devouring the gentle doe
Who am I?Why do I fear?
Will this be revealed in my overflowing tear?
To endure the gashing wound of indecision’s spear
The bravery of my unflinching fear
Death and it’s abruptness
No time to prepare, gentle wife to final caress
Who am I?
A creation of God,
Spawn out of the gentle furnace of careful consideration
NO!not out of arbitrary decision
But with one mind, goal and vision
Tell death I have found my strength
Now I wallow in soulful mirth
Tell death,
I remember He who sacrificed His son
Indecision /decision -,
Alas!the warring tug of war,I have won
Tell death not to seethe At the dawning sound
When he knocks and stamps cause I’m not around
Free at last, chains run aground
I now see Him,
I see it,
Out of the sinking sand
Onto Jesus and Life
The solid,final unyielding ground.
I am Free!
