Lone soldier
Dressed in full battle regalia
At attention you stand
Your gun by your side
You have climbed the steps
And reached the podium
But to come down
From your lofty height
You dare not
Where, O soldier,
Lies your much-vaunted power?
Twenty four hours each day
On duty you are
Battling furiously
To maintain the status quo
Lonely giant made of clay
What would you do
If trouble broke out?
