All heralded the birth of fajr
Accompanied by a magnificent torch
Mankind has risen from death
To commence its daily rituals on earth
Through the renewal of its faith
And toils to sustain its breathe
Even as ants search for grain
Travelling in an orderly train
In sunshine or in rain
Let us leave our hearths
And with all zeal struggle forth
To defy SAP and its deadly threats
So that we can find what to eat
For Allah’s provision are great
This the call of fajr
