The UN in a coma
The UN stands for nations
Its charter a global arbiter
To avert the orgy of killings
By nations in emotional confusion
To measure their aggressive antics
Against their greedy passions
In the chambers of collective parley
The rendezvous of rational verdicts.
The UN is now in a coma
A lackey anointed to the higher
chamber
Its charter smashed into pieces
Its functions devalued by coercion
It consensus a hostage to war mongers
Its blue helmet not a beacon for mercy
Its authority entrapped by commandos of violence
In a raid for capitalist motives.
Arise all nations big and smallest!
The world is in a macabre tango
Your heritage of sovereign values
abducted
By the UFO invaders
Cloaked in UN garments
Ghosting as hope harbingers
A lackey’s concession to sponsors
To bloat our collective mission
Except his master’s obsession.
The UN boils in anaemic mutation
A fragrance for spooky subversion
Our conscience burned to shredded
banners
A darkling veil hangs our sight of
vision
The UN drifting to USON
The United State Organisation of
Nations!
A celibate mandate already disputed
In the furnace of dehydrated Bosnia-Herzegovina
Against the mutinous siege in hapless Somalia.
