Of the starving poor
With no strength to step out
From those prisons of poverty
And no energy to cry out
“We are hungry”
We are their voices .
Of the aborted babies
Flused into the world of no return
Where their destinies were not not given a second thought
We are their voices.
Of those oppressed by opportunists
Suppressed by Sadists
And pressed by Persecutors
We are their voices.
Of those destitute in distress
Wining and dining on the table of impoverishment
With dirgeful lips
And outstretched arms
Not for food but for alms.
We are their VOICES.
