Forgotten Offsprings
Forgotten Offsprings
Many years ago, freedom desired a long voyage,
She called to her children,
They answered with coyness,
She gave them gifts,
They collected with gratitude,
She offered them liberty,
They accepted with love,
She then departs,
Leaving behind her spirit
Many a time since then a knife,
Has parted their brotherhood,
It has turned them against eachother,
It has brought grace of greed,
With basket full of hatred,
The victims called the freedom,
Once more but freedom,
Is on a long voyage
Song of an aged mother,
She put him in her arms,
Cuddling and comforting him,
Trying to predicts his future,
What becomes of him soon,
But will she ever live,
To see the D-day?
Oh my son, she says to him,
You have been a comforter
And a counsel,
Stay and grow to hear my story,
When am frail and fragile,
We shall be together with
your children,
But when am ready to go,
To the world beyond,
You shall say to me,
Oh my mother, mentor and model,
Why so soon?
Stay with me to see my success,
You have been a comforter,
And a counsel, oh my mother!
Why so soon?
