I AM AT PEACE!!!
It was you that make me promises
When the sun is shining
But when you see the storm brewing
It changed to excuses
Thank God for the rain
It washed away all unnecessary, pain.
You said you’ll ride with me,
No matter how rough the journey could be.
As if it wasn’t rough enough
You are the first among the main one’s to fall off.
Well am no more surprised
when I fall off with certain people.
Been there for somebody
is really understood, only by few people.
You tell me, am amazing, genuine and sincere
But still by you am overlooked, almost anywhere.
Honestly, people don’t want something real anymore.
They just want reasons to complain and excuses to avoid, more and more.
I’ve since realised the following facts…
That nothing protects the heart like patience
That I should avoid getting my hopes up too fast
That I should equally avoid letting my fears speak loud
And that, its not everyone that is built to handle the rough times.
Having a good thing is so hard around here
meeting strong person too, is so rare
So I’ve learned to respect when people run from me
I realize my kind of love ain’t for everybody.
With that,I’m at peace
I really mean it, I’ve underlined the PEACE
