The Corpsed Prophesy
The Corpsed Prophesy:
Wind shall be back
To this land of fury.
Rain shall fall
Like it does in due season
Our hands shall be glued
to the riches of our nay-tion
Together we shall sing songs of ode
Hail our land with anthems of oneness
But..
This sun failed to dry
The fallen tears of our foremen
Tender palms wouldn’t soothe
Away the whip of sadness
Our voice heard over the rivers
Are graved in the silence of greed.
Our songs are dirges and lullabies
that lures our children to sleep
on nutless throats.
So..
Prophesies do tell fairy tales
cubed in promises.
Our land is not yet free
From the soaks of blood
and sours of milk.
Our sky shall still
Be hunted by well known shadows.
We are still in the
Century if fools.
Shall we loose hope,
O’ homeland?
No!
This prophesies may be dead
But we await a living one.
