31 DAYS OF POETRY- DAY 30- EXCUSE ME DEATH- by Alozor Michael Ikechukwu

I need a little of your time
To get some issues clear and straight
I won’t be having much of you
It won’t be long and you’ll be gone!

I hear you master is of hades
In need of more bones for his flames
forcing you freely to operate
And feed him with more blood harvest!

Some say your master owns the world
And uses you the way he likes
Setting you upon his cherries
To bring them home to be with him!

But who you work for I care not
The way you operate I care for
why come atimes with so much pains
Why suffer some before take them?

I want to know how much you gain
For each and every pain you cause
Why strike deals too with mere mortals
And let them summon you at will?

How did you become cheap and weak
And respond to just any call
Not minding if it’s your master’s
How much more shameless can you be?

Please take this plea to your master
Tell him to hold tightly your reins
And deny men free use of you
You are his tool and his alone!
