TOWNCRIER
Crier that i am
railing the prime
and cursing the ultimate
i stand like pebble
sitting on the carpet of the ocean
washed and littled by
the brush of the current.
i sink to rise and rise
to sink wailing for all
but hushed by them
for whom i plaint
crier that i am
my cries sicken my ears
and, for a season, i resolve
to cry no more….
