The drunkard’s life
Cups, bottles and kegs are his life
A life for everyone to watch
At times in pity but often times in scorn.
Not many understand the drunkard’s life
A life in need of a touch
A life in the pit of scorn.
In it he might be for life
Pushed by those supposed to touch
With love, but in place gave scorn.
The drunkard might be in for life
Pushed by company and a taste of torch
His life, let’s touch in love not scorn.
