Akinbode Israel

Life is best at night,

Lights peeking through the sky,

Fireflies dancing around displaying beauties,

The dust sleeping on her sandy bed,

An empty path of dead footprints,

Murmuring wind speaking to himself,

Caging every air into refrigerated boxes,

In the absence of no one,

Heartbeats clearly heard.

Life is best at night,

A hope for the next day.
