  • No, I Think Not — Sam De Poe ...

Sam De Poet

When the nail breaks the Camel’s back,
What’s left?
More heavy lifting?

No I think not!

When a goat gets pushed to the wall,
What does it do?
More running scared?
From cowardly chases?

No I think not?

When the final nail gets hammered into the coffin,
What happens?
Lazarus rising from the dead?
Or Joseph the carpenter unseating the nails?

No I think not!

When the Lion keeps bullying Buffaloes,
What happens?
Will they run scared trampling on innocent grasses?
Scared to death from the Jungle King’s harasses?

No I think not!
