Paul Alowo
Tonight
tonight, you are my cherry,
and I your raspberry.
you are my beauteous moon tonight,
glorified with shining of slivery bright.
tonight, you are my bride,
I will lay you down on the bed of life,
browse your garden to gather petals without blight,
and compare your love not with wine.
tonight, poetry is mine,
she illuminate my mind
until we birth love divine.
I love you, dear poetry.
