Airenovboise
Airenovboise
(goddess of love).
tonight too,
seems foggy
with hatred
and remains of
yesterday’s blood.
what shall we do
when the goddess
cease to hear the
cries of corpsed glories
voicing pains
in the silented room.
we call you, Airenovoboise,
hear while we cuddle your name
with the soft palms
retired from the crushing
of palm fruits.
hear us, when we bring yam
to the feet where you lay
with smiles and sundry.
Once, I had this dream
of a dance with the goddess
of love.
this dance, with a lady of virtue.
this dance was of peace.
neither black nor white
red dangling on her lips
are colored smiles.
She was peace. so peaceful.
goddess when we come
tonight with
drums and eager hips-
hear,
for all we need is love
