BECAUSE OF LOVE
The pain in her eyes
Reveals the hurt in her heart
Her eyes have turned red from over-crying
Her sin was believing in love
Crying herself to sleep is the price she is paying
All she wanted was happiness
All she needed was to be loved
What began promising love and happiness in her world
Today is tearing her heart apart
Tears and sadness is what she gets for loving him
She has learned to apologise for his mistake
Today she flinches at each and every word he says
She believes that love is painful
She always wear a fake smile
Trying to hide the scares in her soul
She has learned to say I am ok
Even when her heart is full of pain
She cries herself to sleep every night
She blames herself for that he is cheating
She thinks there is something wrong with herself
She thinks that there is something that she is not doing right
You will hear her saying " he can go and cheat with those women, but he will always come back to me"
She has learned to settle for lukewarm
She use to be a diamond that glitters from miles aways
Today she puts on a makeup to cover bruises that were infected by him
She use to be a forever blooming rose
Today her dignity is gone
