Ebony

Ebony

Pondering upon the beauty that poses past my heart.
The lady with the colour of the night, the glory of the moon.
Upon this beauty that pauses my heart and causes a skip in the chambers of my heart
Shall I dwell
Till dawn cries.

When I think of the beauty in your pinked smile-
butterflies then settles to dine in the secrets of my belly.
Ebony,
Iroko tree bows at your feet.
Daughter of the fretless wind of the West
mothered by the sun from the east.
Ebony mi
tell other ladies the secrets behind this black and shine beauty.

Ebony
My song tonight is that of wonder.
Tomorrow might birth a poem of love..
