HURT DISGRACED

Not understood
Are reasons why
I no longer ache
That my womb
seems dry.

In love conception
Was my aim,
In marriage conception I’d surely claim.
But the Almighty had written a different Story,
Although born by another I share her Glory.

We share the joys and pains to your life,
I pray just as hard when you’re going through strife.

Always there
To comfort your fears,
To kiss your eyes
And dry your tears.

Not of my egg,
Not of my womb,
But you’re my child until I’m entombed.

My dreams and yearning.
Have been erased…

Christ has named my hurt: Disgraced.
