In the midst of change
There is a realization that it must come from within
To find that hidden me
Of yester-year

Oh to go back to a place of simplicity
A place where transitions came naturally
Where corporate enhancements were not a requirement
Where beauty was found in the smallest aspects of my life

So with pen and paper in hand
I spill this ink
To vibe and revitalize the
Me
That I used to be

Before “Reasoning and Literal’ness”
Took a’ hold
Before the unction
Of
My innocence was sacrificed

So
I stand at the door of opportunity
And relinquish control of my mental estate
I will turn error into gravity
And sublime-ness into felicity

Digging deeper into that place where my
Ancestral voice is paramount
Where a deluge of energy lives
and
Is necessary for me to grow

No longer in a capsule
Into the outer box
Of
Over-flowing of feelings
Of right and wrong
(Only God can judge me)

Breaking the ever spiraling cycle
Of debilitating views
To see the real me,… To be the real,…. me
