In the distance I saw a silhouette figure
Moving towards me
With slow breathes
I am frozen in my stance
Heart beating
Quaking the earth beneath me
Mind racing
Wondering who can you be?
And what do you want from me
Eyes locked peering through my soul
I feel every hair highlit’ by your close proximity
Feelings of love and respect poured into me
as I am held captive
By your powerful stare
No words need be spoke
I needed to be touch by you
To feel you
To know that you were truly real
That my eyes were not deceiving me
You were so radiant
Yes you
mesmerized by you
Then with warm hands
you
touched
me

no longer frozen
Came closer to you
and you didn’t flinch
You so grounded and focus
Never looked away from me
Something is so familiar about you..
Something that I never noticed before
You’re real,
You’re tangible,
You’re timeless…
You were there when love was begotten of this man and woman
When kings and kingdoms were formed and destroyed
You were there with sense and sensibility
in a committed relationship…
When glaciers were in rare form
And
Before the stars knew their name
You were there
for us
You didn’t make any effort in concealing the truth
For
You stood on the shoulders of heaping waves
Unleashed
You were the arms of Peaceful given
Aligned with the stars
And
Moonlit kissed nights
You are amazing
Without hesitation I asked for your name
And
Graciously you obliged
You told me that you are ancient
That you were faithful in any circumstance,
Shadowing out right or wrong,
You were liberty’s
When chaos and destruction were on the horizon.
