Hand in hand, they reminded
many of the past
when in "twos", hours rolled past
over sweet repetition on love things.

Hand in hand, they were a perfect
re-wind of a film
that almost set the hall ablaze
with wine and beer-scented laughter.

Hand in hand, they bonded through
in confidence walk that shined
in a fish smoke charged arena.

Hand in hand, they were ”eye-escorted”
to their seats by eyes that wondered aloud
their twin ‘"similarity."

In frenzied bet, tongues fell over
on who gives birth tomorrow…the man
or the woman…
another glass tripped over pouring a spark
to a convivial frenzy.
