An Open Mic Ogbomoso Anthology: Volume I, Year Four

EWÌ ’MOSHO is the first official anthology from Open Mic Ogbomoso, curated in its fourth year. It documents poems that have lived on the mic—works spoken aloud, tested before a listening audience, and shaped by live performance.

ARCHIVE AND ELIGIBILITY
Volume I was open to poets who had performed at Open Mic Ogbomoso. Eligible poems had to have been performed on or before 31 January 2026.

ORIGINAL SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
✅ Poets could submit up to three (3) poems
✅ Editors could select up to two (2) poems per poet
✅ Poems had to be original
Previously published poems were allowed, provided they met the performance requirement.

EDITORIAL PROCESS
Fully curated by the Open Mic Ogbomoso Editorial Team. Selection based on:
✅Craft
✅Voice
✅Originality
✅Performance memory
Final anthology size: 50–70 poems

RIGHTS & CONTRIBUTOR BENEFITS
✳️Poets retain full rights to their work
✳️This anthology will be the poem’s first anthology appearance
✳️Selected contributors receive: A digital copy of the anthology, Contributor credit, and a short author bio.
